Tonight - route check for the LFNS (Hans is leading this Fri!)
Fri - marshalling the London Friday Night Skate (LFNS)
Sat: 12:00 Stroll route check then at 15:00 Mike's long slow skate (LSS) from the beach.
Sun: Hans is doing sprints or something equally gruelling at 09:15 starting from Serpentine Road (beach end). Maybe followed by some dryland or technique. Followed by the Stroll (I am leading ) and the Santa Skate

My training week looks remarkably similar to Nat's, except for the actual "training" component: absent divine intervention (e.g. an angel with a cup of tea) I am unlikely to get up on Sunday morning.
If the weather looks reasonably good tomorrow or Thursday evening I may be about, looking for a sensible (legal, road-based) 4 mile route between SR and Lancaster Gate. |

I have 4 recovery days scheduled in as I've been training hard since we got back from Sardinia. First training this week will be spinning on Friday afternoon (I don't count ice skating ).
Sat. or Sun. I plan to do a long skate, and HP whichever the other weekend morning is. Or possibly Tatem. |

| Might possibly be worth mentioning that LFNS route checks are officially open to LondonSkate marshals as well as LFNS marshals, and in practice what this means is that anybody who wants to come along and can keep up (they're not usually especially fast) is welcome to. Usually 8pm Tuesday at Wellington Arch, but of course you don't get to find out if they've been rescheduled or something unless you ask an actual marshal. |

| You can always route check the Sunday Stroll, this is on Saturdays at 12 or 2pm. Hope you're skating the LFNS this week, Gav, Hans is leading an adapted version of Brendan's Circle Line route. |

Which is it to be this week, O Glorious Leader? 2pm would usually clash with the LSS, but I figure this week we can probably get around a four mile route in an hour and be back in time ;-) |

| Would like to have done it but I just spent 13 hours helping Duracell and Handjob move house. Was a pretty good work out though. |

LOL, Gav & LS-Mike, on the Sunday Stroll in full team gear (very handsome, boys). Thanks very much for your support, it was greatly appreciated. The Santa Skate was wild, I think there were about 160 of us, all in Santa costumes. The reaction from the public was truly unbelievable What a rush!
Elsewhere, we had 11 LSST members and 1 LFNS marshal on the long slow skate, and Gav did sprints on Serpentine Road this morning (then went to the gym this afternoon ) Then showed us some nifty moves on the dancefloor after the Santa skate.
Ugh, work tomorrow (and it's raining and cold. Boo!) |

Sounds great! Hope there'll be pictures of 160 skating Santas?
