Much the same as last week for me. Some major bruising has now appeared round the back of my knee. Impact was on the front so it was a bigger knock than I thought. However, the knee is now bending so I am doing some dryland striding from time to time to see how it feels but not enough to consider it training. Other than that, it's baths and arnica.

Monday: the 10x500 which I didn't do last week
Tuesday RC plus some techniquey stuff
Wed: dry land, and more of it than last week
Thu: rest
Fri: LFNS bike riding
Sat: Richmond if there's a car going (unlikely), otherwise maybe Hillingdon
Sun: away

(And I might add, just because I feel smug about it, that I did the 10x500 already, at 8:15 am - I'm sure half of you had been at work for an hour already by then, but as a definite non-morning person this represents a big deal for me.  Don't know how long this fit of enthusiasm will last, though - and next time I'll have breakfast first)

Don't worry.  Any minute now Quentin will be along to tell us all that he's not training this week either.  But don't you have leg-related physio stuff you can post about?

I have Saturday morning off, so I'm quite tempted to come to either Richmond or Hillingdon for a few gentle laps.

I have unfortunately agreed to run a half marathon with a mate this weekend. One of those great ideas at the time. To make matters worse, it now appears that the guy I'm running round with has actually done some training and so I'm now very uncertain as to whether I am going to be able to keep up! (Whether I can even get round is a whooole different issue)

So, this week I've decided to do a bit of running. Bit late but oh well. Usual lunchtimes at Battersea and evenings in the gym, but I always seem to be alone for them!  Crying or Very sad

Not sure Hillingdon is a good option on a Saturday morning. Hillingdon Slipstreamers U16 cylce club use it every saturday from 10 to 12:30. Sat afternoon should be fine. Nothing officia on the calendar until November then every sat from Nov to March from 13:30 is British Cylcing road racing according to the website
