P.S. With the winter nights drawing in, what time are we starting Tatem? |
The park closes at 7:30 so I think I'll try to arrive as close to 6 as possible. |

| Nobody to push me to move on route check tonight. Did some technique work in the park and went home instead. |

Short but useful training session. Christophe, Chris, Matt and us. Did 3x10 minute sessions. Got the shine off mys. orange matters. Thanks to Tanya for getting me my nice honey coloured MPC wheels (in case of rain)
A couple from Enfield council came along to see us - talking about plans to renovate and develop the skating track at Tatem. There was a meeting of friends of Tatem park this evening at 7:30 to discuss this project. Chris anmd Matt went along to listen and have a say from the skaters perspective. |

Planning to do some technique practice on Serp Road tonight, rather than the streetskate.
Mike - would some sprints tonight still be of benefit for Berlin?
(Obviously only in a place where this would not endanger the non-skating public.) |

if you've been training recently then no... rick believes he is still very unfit and thus could help.
it's a balance between recovery & being rested and having any fitness
theory is a week to see / feel benefits of training
but u know what's best 4 u |

That's for strength training, though. Very short sprints (see the 4x100m recommendation above) may have not-losing-fitness benefit, and sprints-concentrating-on-technique may have neuromuscular benefit (if you're anticipating needing to sprint at some point during Berlin)
I will be out tonight either in the park or on the londonskate (the latter has better scenery) to work on my right foot carving - because I don't believe I have been training enough lately to need the downtime for muscle repair, and it's still long enough before the race not to worry about depleting glycogen reserves or anything. |
