If I can get a route more or less finalised by this evening and it doesn't snow, I'll be doing a pre-rc tonight for the LFNS in two weeks' time.  Anybody interested in coming along please let me know, cos I won't be hanging around at Wellington Arch on the offchance.

[ edit: or at all.  Working late tonight, this hasn't/won't be happening ]

(Other than that, RC was Tuesday, not that it helps anyone to know that now, LFNS Friday, and see what the weather/firebrox looks like at the weekend.  Maybe cones in Victoria Park on Saturday morning if I can't get to Practice Club)

Conditional on my getting the route sorted out and on the weather: 8pm, Hyde Park Corner, heading north and then east to the City Road and then I'm not sure where but LFNSish kind of territory.  About 12-15 miles, aim to complete in around 1 hour-1:30 I guess

Well I thought we were only going to do w/c training threads now, not the xxx morning training type ones!

There's nothing else until someone get the calendar thing going and we think it a useful replacement. Without the w/c threads some people will never do any training. I for one don't train alone. It's not motivating as I am driven by the social more than the results but I do need to train more if I am to have another brilliant year.

I thought we'd agreed on w/c threads for "club" training - i.e. anything that other people might be interested in turning up to.

Or maybe it was my idea and so I just pretended everyone agreed with me.

Nothing was agreed. There was some whining, some flippancy (as here Wink ) some suggestions and then the thread went quiet.
