Good session at Eastway with Janina and Robert from Berlin.
Great to be on the Eastway hills again - had almost forgotten how much fun they are |

Hillingdon was a good laugh this morning. We had 13 people there and did some relaying practice as well as laying down a few laps. I skated there and back to my place with Quentin. It's a lot faster than driving. Got the trip down to about 12-13 minutes.
Nice to see so many Hillingdon virgins there. I thin the place get a unanimous thumbs up compared to Eastway except for the incovenience of getting there. |

Mine are nearly there and I didn't do as much as you did
Thanks to Gav, Hans and Rick for encouraging the relay change drills - they were really useful and great to combine with doing the laps around Hillingdon. It was nice to see so many people there
This morning is the first time in a long time where I have felt tiredness in my legs - obviously I've not been pushing myself hard enough, but I can already see that these coming sessions is going to be testing! |

Except for us living in the West. This place is quite easy for me to get to. Was sick so couldn't go this week, Keep us posted and I'll join the sessions

| Gutted, you guys sound like you had so much fun! Sometimes it's a real bummer having a wrong-way-round work schedule. |

Nice track (though the uphill is hard work with a headwind and no draft). Good motivation to work on right crossovers, too.
It'll be interesting to see what the effect on lap times is of doing more than one lap at once: here's hoping that being able to skate along the fast bit (instead of doing a relay changeover there) will push times down a bit
[ edit: gps speed/time graph here:
4 of my laps, plus special guest appearance by Gav. Slightly despiked but only by enough to get a moderately sensible scale on the y axis ] |

I don't know why you let Gav do that 3rd lap |

| Heh. For the avoidance of doubt, what you see there is one lap on, one lap off, one lap on, one lap off, two laps on (Craig wasn't ready to relay when I came around after the first lap), some time spent standing around discussing who was leaving when, then Gav's lap at the end |

| I'm guessing that because it's still pretty wet out there that there is no training at Tatem tonight. |
