Sol, you still planning on Richmond tomorrow morning? I will join you there if possible...
Otherwise I plan on going up to Hillingdon for about 10am. |

Training the day before a race?! That's crazy talk, is it not? |

it would only be bad if I was planning to race. i'm planning on going to preston to strength my ankled and see if I can count to 26. couldn't get to 6 or 10 on the last two occasion.
plus haven't done the distance (non stop) apart from once before. |

Looking back at last week: It was quite different from what I usually do.
First half was basically no training, I seem to have had some sort of bug and just didn't feel like working hard at all. Did my first series of uphill intervals on Friday, will put these in regularly until Le Mans now.
Also, a little results service from my Saturday run. The conditions were okay, it was quite (head-)windy but apart from that nice and cool. Finished my 7.5k in 36 Minutes. I'm happy with this given that I had not run a single time for three months except some warmup jogging. I will stick to skating though, it hurts less afterwards Michi and Mareike did a perfect job at cheering and supporting, and of course we promoted LSST whereever possible
Yesterday we only did some playing around on a street closed due to roadworks, to aid my recovery from the run. We had some fun with one of these "You are going XY per hour" things, and practised a few starts. |
